  • November 10: Time to Code!! Part Two

    We built a simple application to read the session list. This session we will build a speaker list and tie the two together.

    Its coding time.  By the end of this session we should have a functional conference applicaion that lets us

    a) View Sessions

    b) View Speakers

    c) Navigate from Session to speaker and back.

     
  • October 13: Time to Code!!

    In our October meeting we sat down to code a Conference application on Windows Phone 7 and Android by using the previous years session and speaker list from codemash which is coming up on Jan 13th.

    It was fun to code together and learn together and we are going to continue that next session.

     
  • Sept Meeting @ Sept 8: Ben Von Handorf on “Android from a dotnet developers perspective!”

    We had a fantastic August meeting with Bill Steele walking us through some amazing math basics and reminding us that game development is fun. Several of the user group members felt they were back in school. We also had some great giveaways along with a Telerik Ultimate Collection valued at over 2000$.

    Join us in september to learn about some android basics via Ben (http://www.benvonhandorf.com/blog/) as he takes us through Android as a mobile development platform. He will be presenting Android smartphone development from a dot net developers perspective. We will not have an XNA Hour.

    We have some good books to give away as well as a license to the telerik WP7 control

    Calling all gamers and graphics enthusiasts! Come and learn about XNA the awesome framework for building not just games but also applications.

    We will also showcase a few Kinect demos. Some come “Kinect” about XNA!!

    July 14th @ 6:30 p.m. -> Its time to Mango!

    We will use the Mango Beta tools to build several small applications. Some of the applications will combine XNA and Silverlight therefore there will be no Silverlight and XNA hours. You can come in person or attend via office live.

    Prerequisites-> Bring a laptop with windows phone 7 tools loaded or team up with someone who has. Its time to build some apps!
